What to wear in Miami Beach this summer

I love going to the beach, spending time next to the ocean, sunbathing, swimming and enjoying the atmosphere. Miami is the perfect place to do it! But every time I have the chance, it's not easy to decide what to wear. I want to look stylish and sexy, feel comfortable, and feel free to participate in any beach activity. I also want to look totally appropriate to leave the beach at any time and visit shops, cafes, exhibitions, or join the party.

Today I would like to talk about 5 magical summer wardrobe pieces you can use to look stunning no matter what you are doing:

stripe dress outfit

I would recommend choosing a mid-length Strap Dress. First of all - it will stop your legs from getting too much sun but the hem will not touch the sand - no chance it will get dirty. The second reason I would choose a dress like this - you won't feel hot, but will have a very romantic and feminine look. To describe my third reason I need to quote fashion icon Diana Vreeland who said, "The eye should travel." Don't show everything you have under cover - let people imagine what an amazing body you have under a fluttering dress like this. Have an evening walk at famous Ocean Drive Miami Beach and enjoy all the attention you deserve.

Long shirt outfit for Miami Beach

A lot of stylists advise you to choose a Shirt-Dress for the summer, but I won't. The difference between a Long shirt and a Shirt-Dress is in the garment's construction. Usually shirts do not have a belt, and they have splits on the side seams which will allow you to shorten it. Imagine how many ways you can wear a long shirt - with shorts, skirts, jeans/pants, or as a tunic by itself! The other reason I would recommend to wear a long shirt - it is great for an active lifestyle. You can tie it and wear with your bikini, enjoy walking in the ocean waves, or playing volleyball at Miami beach. You could also wear it unbuttoned for a glamorous pool look. With just a simple move of your hands - totally change the look. Wear it with a belt for a sexy look at party in one of Miami’s night clubs, or visit Pérez Art Museum Miami and look like a true art lover while wearing it with culottes. Every day it will perfectly fit in your mood.

Wrap skirt outfit for Miami Beach

First of all - you can choose almost any top you like to wear with a Wrap Skirt. It can be the most casual T-shirt, or a silk top for a fancy look, or a trendy last season bustier top. Bustier tops are such a sexy piece. It is not underwear, but it shows a lot. I would recommend to look at Dolche and Gabbana bustiers as an example of Miami hot style. The second reason I would pick a wrap skirt - you can use it as a strapless dress, or tie straps crossed around your neck and wear it as a beach Pareo. Also, wrap skirts suit many body shapes. You can regulate the waist line (wear it high or low on your waist) to find your own perfect way to show a hot summer body in its best shape.

chiffon dresses to go out

Sheer fabrics are the biggest trend of this years collections. Almost every designer brand presented sheer garments this season. Visit Miami shopping centers like Aventura Mall and I am sure you will find them. Sheer is sexy - you are fully dressed but such a feast for the imagination. The lightness of the fabric, the way it flows on your body, and your skin shining through - such a hot image. I would recommend choosing casual types of dresses - this way you won't look over-dressed. It can be a buttoned shirt-dress or off-shoulder dress which will add a romantic note to your look. Choose dresses made of natural fibers (silk for examples) and you won't feel over-heated, but others will be heated by your super hot look. Chose pop-art prints on fabrics to visit iconic Wynwood Walls and create a perfect selfie to reflect your South Florida style.

white summer dress to go out

Eyelet is a fabric usually made of cotton fibers. It is not a lace, and it is not sheer, but you can see through it. Even the name of this fabric creates some intrigue. I think garments made of Eyelet are a perfect summer fit. It breathes, it is stylish and beautiful, and you can perfectly accent your tan. Eyelet fabric truly rocks Miami Beach. Visit Lummus Park Beach and play Volleyball or take a boat and reach Pelican Island to have a perfect summer picnic with friends.
