Whether if you are visiting Miami or you are a local looking for something different to do with your friends or family, you definitely should consider a visit to the Homestead Miami Speedway. Developed in 1995 to help the city of Homestead in its recovering from the damaged caused by Hurricane Andrew, this place has become one of the most important locations for NASCAR, IndyCar and the Championship Cup Series within other important racing events. Each year, best drivers from all kinds of car racing sporting events gather here to deliver a performance admired by people from all over the world.

One of the most significant events that take place each November since 2002 in this spectacular track is the Ford Championship Weekend. At this amazing show the spectators can enjoy the final races of NASCAR divisions (Sprint Cup Series, Xfinity Series and the Camping World Truck Series). This is a great experience that you should include in your bucket list, whether if you are an auto racing passionate or just want to enjoy a fun weekend and experience one of the biggest auto racing shows in the world.

Even though the Homestead Miami Speedway is an interesting place for all those who want to enjoy the adrenaline and excitement of the most relevant and famous speed racing events, this is not all you can see and do there. Each month there are other different events happen at the Miami Speedway in which you can participate or assist as a spectator. An interesting and incredible activity is the Miami Exotic Auto Racing where drivers can experience the adrenaline and excitement of driving some of the world’s most exotic cars like a Ferrari F430, Lamborghini Huracan or an Aston Martin BD9 and few others. Also some Fridays, from 6:00 pm to midnight, this place opens its doors to all those car enthusiasts who want to legally compete against other drivers. This event is called Fast Lane Friday and fees are $20 for competitors, $10 for spectator and kids under 12 are free.
