It is located on the outskirts of the Everglades National Park and, upon entry to the farm, you will see alligators in a rustic environment. This farm contains over 3,000 alligators, which include American, Nile and Orinoco species. It is possible to hold a baby alligator and attend an excellent show complete with handlers presenting several demonstrations such as sitting on the backs of alligators, holding their mouths open or showing capture techniques. You can stand close to a fence for the twice-daily feedings of these huge animals as they come ashore to eat. In addition to the alligators there is a large collection of exotic snakes located on Snake Island. There are also shows, which involve handling of these dangerous snakes.
