South Florida is home to a number of breathtaking cruise lines that set sail to unexplainable gorgeous places in the world. Ft. Lauderdale, about 40 miles north of Miami is the busiest cruise port in the world.
Having a local cruise saves a ton of time and of course your coins because it eliminated the need for locals to fly to their departure port. The idea of bringing ships to you instead of you going to the ships came about after the horrific 9/11 attack. People became afraid to fly due to the tragedy and as a result cruise lines decided it would be best to send the ships to the cruisers. After all it’s all about the safety of the cruisers…right?! So with the world in the palm of your hands, follow me on this little adventure as I share with you some of the best local cruises here in South Florida.

Celebrity X Cruises

Celebrity X Cruises founded in 1988 by Greece based Chandris Group. However, by 1997 the cruise line merged with what is now known as Royal Caribbean Ltd. the essence of vacationing Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. This cruise offers top of the line contemporary luxury at its finest along with architecturally designed spaces to stain your memory forever. From the dining experience, suite statement rooms, spas and gyms to the warmth of the employees, Celebrity X Cruises exudes a way of vacationing like no other.
